The purpose of this body of work to continue the conversations of the period of time when we are transitioning into adulthood and discovering what our identities are, while grappling with the lessons taught in childhood. It exhibits the beauty of growth and mistakes, and complicated relationships we create with ourselves and others. My goal is to represent the many ways we can connect with femininity through artistic forms. For me this project will be partly an expression of self understanding and an invitation to others to share their stories and memories of their connection with femininity.
